From an abbey on a bend of the Danube that claims brewing since 1050, which would make it the oldest monastery brewery still working.
Originally limited beer to water, barley and hops. Yeast was not yet understood. Not a modern legal requirement for most beer sold in Germany, but still claimed as a mark of tradition.
